Dangerous Curve is the best kept secret of the art world in L.A. Located inside a curved building, Dangerous Curve touts unconventional art and architecture. The exhibition and performance space prides itself in showcasing risky and often commercially unviable art. From the website:

The inaugural exhibit featured sculptor/political scientist Steven Simon, whose works include solar-powered installations. Since then, Dangerous Curve has hosted the likes of algorithmic artist Tim Quinn, who creates mind-bending patterns, and video artist Brian Routh, whose warped video portraits of human faces are both unsettling and beguiling. Dangerous Curve aims to revitalize the community with groundbreaking exhibits as well as performance, live experimental music and monthly events.
